Excel for Android now enables conversion of photos to tables

Recommended Posts

Scanning documents using our phones is a very easy and straightforward method that enables us to scan the text to make it into an editable copy.

However, for billboards, you may be grateful to understand that the Microsoft Excel productivity application from Microsoft for Android will soon be able to scan the data table images and convert them to a spreadsheet editable.

This feature was announced by Microsoft, where through the "Insert Photos From Photo" section, Microsoft says, "You can make a picture of the printed or manually printed data sheet on your Android device and convert this analogue information on an Excel table with a single click.

The new image recognition function automatically converts the image to a fully editable Excel spreadsheet, eliminating the need to manually input the data. "

This means that if you are taking notes or if you have typed the material you want to be able to convert to an Excel table that can be edited later, you will soon be able to do so by using the Excel application on Android.

Microsoft does not say when the feature will be available, but hopefully it will not be too far in the future.
